Mrs. Handal is a leading figure of music education both as a teacher and an administrator. She provides efficient music education for the young, teaching music for different levels of students aged 5 to high school level. She is also expert in teaching the disabled and children with special needs. In addition, she has a vast experience in educational administration and management in educational environments and schools. She is also a trainer for choral singing, band directing and performance skills.
Her Academy administration tasks include different tracks. The most significant one is academic management which cover supervising teachers and their work, inspecting teaching progress, class schedules, methods and scholastic progress, and keeping academic records. She is also experienced in human resources in the musical environment, such as in interviewing and hiring teaching and administrative staff, supervision and management. Keeping personnel records.
Reem is a seasoned musician, composer, teacher and choral conductor from Bethlehem. She composes light music, songs, and choir music. As a senior Choir director, she is well informed in selecting repertoire, vocal training, and Directing choir.
She was awarded several awards such as resignation from University ” Lumiere Lyon 2″, an Honorary Certificate from the Academy of Arts, Cairo, Egypt, Sfax Conservatory, Tunis: Conference and honorary certificate, Palestinian Ministry Award for women of culture (2013), and others. She participated as Jury member in international music competitions held in different countries such Tunis, Poland, Germany, Egypt, Turkey and Greece and others.
