This year, Bethlehem Academy of Music introduced a rich and inspiring summer experience for children aged 6 to 13, through the “Little Melodies” Camp, held at the Peace Center in the heart of Bethlehem. The camp beautifully blended music, learning, and fun within a safe and motivating environment.
Running five days a week (Monday to Friday) from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, the camp offered a wide variety of activities. These included choral singing, hands-on experience with different instruments (such as oud, violin, piano, and percussion), as well as foreign language workshops (Spanish, French, German, and Italian) taught through songs and interactive games. Children also participated in drama and theater workshops, designed to spark creativity and build self-confidence, in addition to educational recreational trips.
Parents reported noticeable improvements in their children’s communication skills, creativity, and cultural awareness, while the children themselves expressed joy and excitement at a program that combined knowledge, play, and discovery.
By organizing this camp, the academy reaffirms its ongoing commitment to providing enriching programs that enhance children’s lives, while continuing to develop new summer initiatives that bring together music, arts, and languages in innovative and inspiring ways.
مخيم ألحان صغيرة
قدمت أكاديمية بيت لحم للموسيقى هذا العام تجربة صيفية متكاملة للأطفال من عمر 6 إلى 13 عامًا، من خلال “مخيم ألحان صغيرة” الذي أقيم في مركز السلام بوسط مدينة بيت لحم، حيث امتزجت الموسيقى بالتعلم والمرح في بيئة آمنة وملهمة
استمر المخيم خمسة أيام أسبوعيًا (من الاثنين إلى الجمعة) من الساعة 9:00 صباحًا حتى 1:00 ظهرًا، وتضمن أنشطة متنوعة مثل الجوقة الموسيقية، وتجربة العزف على آلات متعددة (العود، الكمان، البيانو، الإيقاعية)، بالإضافة إلى ورشات تعليم لغات أجنبية (الإسبانية، الفرنسية، الألمانية، الإيطالية) عبر الأغاني والألعاب التفاعلية، وورشات درامية ومسرحية لتعزيز الإبداع وبناء الثقة بالنفس، إلى جانب رحلات تعليمية ترفيهية
وقد لاحظ الأهالي تطورًا واضحًا في مهارات أطفالهم من حيث التواصل، والإبداع، والانفتاح الثقافي، بينما عبّر الأطفال عن سعادتهم بهذه التجربة التي جمعت بين المعرفة واللعب والاكتشاف. ويأتي تنظيم المخيم ضمن التزام الأكاديمية المستمر بتقديم برامج نوعية تثري حياة الأطفال، مع العمل على تطوير المزيد من المبادرات الصيفية التي تجمع بين الموسيقى، والفنون، واللغات
